Calisthenics history:
- Kimberley has been coaching for over 24 years and over 35 years in Calisthenics overall.
- Kimberley started at the age of 2 years & 8mth at Bentleigh Calisthenics club.
- At 4 years, the Walkerden family moved to North Dandenong and joined St. Gerard’s Calisthenics Club.
- From Tinies to Juniors Kimmy was at St. Gerard’s, however, they didn’t have an Inters team at that time, so Kimberley joined Noble Park Calisthenics Club.
- At the age of 12 and 13 Kimberley was choreographing routines for the Tinies section of St Gerard’s CC and has been coaching ever since.
- At 14 years of age, Kimmy took the Tinies &Subbies and over the next 20 years took Inters and Seniors.
- Kimberley performed herself with Noble Park for 8 years, under the coaching of Ronice Writter who always encouraged Kimmy as a student and as a coach.
- Kimberley then continued back at St Gerard’s as coach and often made appearances in the Senior Team.
- Kimmy’s most favourite times are with the many students she coaches. “I love it. I love my beautiful girls.”

Love the kids, believe in them.
Love the sport and be passionate about it.

Most memorable calisthenics moment:
First year at Ballarat as an Inter 12 years old on stage.

- Kimmy has taught approx 300 girls over her 20+ years as a coach.
- Choreographed approx 360 items.
- Attended over 300 competitions with the girls.
- Practice time in class only amounts to approx 6000 hours.
- Kimmy has performed on stage 1080 times.
